“How wrong it is for a woman to expect the man to build the world she wants, rather than to create it herself."
-Anais Nin
Scratch the surface; most are satisfied with what they find. But what if you decide to dig deeper? Beyond the superficial?
Jade La Femme is a blog of then and now, of sexual liberation, of one woman's adventures in one century melded with another woman's adventures in the present day.
It is a celebration of women who have made a difference in society and culture, however big or small.
This is also my life: I occasionally talk about my daughter or my family, but make no mistake, I believe in free speech. Not everything I say in necessarily politically correct by any means.
I try to be more than a drop in the bucket. I create because I have to. I give because I need to. I love because I want to. I am not here to contest whether my art is no better no worse than anyone else. I do not need contests, things, or validation in order to feel fulfilled. Many think I wear my heart on my sleeve: I call it being honest. I am an advocate for individuality and tolerance. I have been lucky enough to have been born in a country that allows me to express both, even when mainstream society wants to try to stamp it out of me. They will never take my voice, they will never profit off of my own talent (even though they like to think they already do). I published my own best works straight off of my own home printer, and will continue to do so. Copy and destroy is my middle name.
